Can I apply for the orchestra with any instrument?

We have put together a list with instruments in the registration form. We are working with a waiting list in the rare case that there wouldn't be a place for your instrument.

When do the rehearsals take place?

Rehearsals take place every Tuesday evening from 20:00 till 22:00 at the Protestant Church of Brussels, Nieuwe Graanmarkt 8, 1000 Brussels. >>SEE ON GOOGLE MAPS <<

How much does the membership cost?

The membership fee is 27,5EUR per semester to cover the costs of the orchestra. But you are more than welcome to first come and try out, before you make a decision to join permanently.

I am currently still taking classes, can I play along?

Yes! :-). In addition, you may even be able to make use of the alternative learning context: the rehearsals of the wind orchestra then count as a lesson in ensemble playing, which means you no longer have to take these lessons at the academy. Your evaluation will then be conducted by the conductor of our orchestra. We currently have partnerships with the Hoofdstedelijke Kunstacademie and with Kunstacademie Dil'Arte Dilbeek.
